Paris, France; April 2011 World Association of Chefs Societies has awarded WACS Recognition for Quality Culinary Education to Escuela de Ciencias Gastronómicas UEES in Guayas, Ecuador for the consistent delivery of quality culinary education to its constituents; offering courses in both culinary arts and baking and pastry arts.

The WACS Recognition Review Panel, under the direction of the WACS Education Committee, reviewed the documents and evidence and overwhelmingly agreed to grant WACS Recognition.
