Our Competition Seminars are designed for ambitious culinarians, teams and individuals, who wish to improve their competition skills and achieve higher scores when participating in hot kitchen culinary competitions.

During this seminar, our accreditated judge instructors will share techniques from top competitors and competition teams that have consistently reached the highest place at the podium.

You will gain insight into best practices by following Worldchefs judging criteria and receive useful tips to avoid common mistakes and pit falls. The competition seminar is imperative for teams and individuals who take competition seriously and wishes to optimize his/hers training and skills.

The seminar will take place over one day and covers all steps in hot kitchen competition, from planning to plating. You will learn:

COMPETITIONS INSTRUCTOR

Chef Gert Klotzke is a Certified A Judge and Chairman of Worldchefs Culinary Competition Committee. The well-known competition chef and judge has won numerous awards on the international culinary scene. He was Chef of the Year in both Sweden and Norway, and has spent the last decade or so mentoring a generation of competition talents. He was Sweden’s team manager at the Culinary Olympics in 2000 and 2004 (Sweden was Overall Winner) and the Culinary World Cup 2002. He was later the trainer and coach of the award winning National Culinary Team of Sweden as well as Iceland. Most recently, he was the appointed competition trainer for the National Culinary Team of Finland, which came in 2nd overall at the Culinary Olympics 2016.

WHO CAN ATTEND A COMPETITION SEMINAR ?

Competition Seminars are open to anyone who wishes to increase their competition skills or understanding of culinary competitions. It is particularly recommended to anyone who wishes to compete in Worlchefs Endorsed events. WHAT IS THE COST ?

The education material is sold under a licence of 1400 € to the organiser. This includes the instructor fee but not travel expenses. The Organiser must cover eventual travel and accomodation expenses for seminar instructors. The organizer may charge participation at a reasonable rate.

HOW MANY CAN ATTEND THE SEMINAR ?

One licence is valid for a maximum of 50 persons per one instructor.

WHAT ARE THE OBLIGATIONS OF THE ORGANISER ?

The Organiser is responsible for arranging a meeting room with a video projector.

The Organiser is responsible for registering participants and to communicate the names with email addresses to Worldchefs Office 10 working days prior to the event.

The organizer is responsible for printing out certificates provided by Worldchefs in a PDF format and present them to participants.

WORLDCHEFS will announce the seminar on its website www.worldchefs.org and e-newsletter.

WORLDCHEFS will provide individual certificates to participants in a pdf format.
