        Have the honor to invite you to join their initiative to promote the cuisine, as part of the culture you come from. It is an unique experience

which deserves all our attention! Bucharest will become the capital of the World Gastronomy between the 13th to 17th of March 2014 at Pullman Hotel.

      The first edition of the International Congress of Culinary Traditions gathering worldwide international participants is organized amid the lack of any background

regarding the representation of authentic traditional culinary art in Romania and also abroad. Usually all cooks, whether amateur or professional (chefs), try to adopt

some techniques and practices from the international cuisine while leaving their traditional roots behind.

        Diversity plays an important role in the interaction between people and the inter-cultural and inter-professional dialogue between them; the desire of many individuals to unify people, to reject their individuality and therefore their particular customs and traditions will result in a dull, simple and monotonous existence.

        We are simply different from all points of view and this is this the very beauty of mankind; this is also why we aim to provide an overview on as many cultures and traditions of the peoples throughout the mother Earth having as central point on Romanian cuisine, that we want to highlight to everybody.

 

Each country will present a dissertation of culinary traditions of their countries and will make two portions of a starter, main course and a dessert

which are specific exclusively to their country. One portion will be for photo and the other will be for World Culinary Exhibition.  All the dissertations and the

presentation of the dishes will be included to the first edition of the Encyclopedia of World Culinary Traditions which will be launch in Luxembourg this year.

Each country has the obligation to send all the information regarding the team (3 persons: one will present the dissertation and two Chefs will prepare the

dishes- we accept 4 persons, each team, if necessary) - names and other details and a copy of the dissertation until the 21st  of February. The accomodations,

launches and dinners will be offer by Cultural Association Euro East Alternative during all days of the Congress. The language of the Congress is English.
