Atlantic Chef Cup Asian Young Chefs Knife Skills Competition 2014 report

The chef's knife is probably a cook's most important tool. Given the amount of time it spends in our hand, it's definitely worth making sure you have a good one. Indeed, we did see good knifes at the second edition and the “2014 Atlantic Chef Cup Asian Young Chefs Knife Skills Competition” took center stage in Taichung, Taiwan on October 31, 2014 at the Trans World University; Doulin City, Yulin County, 640 Taiwan.

 

Many of us have attended various competitions before, this one was unique and a true winner in promoting not cooking but fundamental skills as the promising and popular skills competition of knife skills measured precision in the core of culinary creation which was attended by over 224 young competitors from 4 nations at the age below 25 years.
